The Silent Rebellion - The figure in white, facing forward represents a form of quiet defiance or individuality amidst a sea of conformity. The other women, dressed in black with their backs turned symbolise societal norms and expectations that the enlightened figure is stepping away from. 
 
The smoky, dreamy background suggests a hazy, uncertain atmosphere which symbolises the fog of societal and cultural restraints.
